
A Common-Sense Voice for Marietta School Board

Vote Tuesday, November 2nd!

Jaillene Hunter is running for Marietta School Board to be a voice for Ward 4’s students, parents and grandparents and to prioritize and close the gap of learning loss that has occurred during the pandemic.
Jaillene currently serves as President of the PTA at West Side Elementary.
Additionally, she serves on the Wellstar-Kennestone Hospital Regional Health Board and Marietta’s Mentoring for Leadership Board of Directors.
She is an active member at Stonebridge Church, serving in the children’s ministry and supporting Stonebridge’s partner in education, Park Street Elementary. She was named one of Cobb Life Magazine’s 40 under 40. If elected, Jaillene would have children in elementary, middle and high school during her time of service.

Keep academics the priority and advocate for in-person learning for our students.

Give parents access to all curriculum being taught to their children.

Prioritize funding and resources to close the learning loss gap due to COVID.

Provide resources to identify and remediate students who struggle with learning challenges.

Ensure that parents are empowered to make decisions about the health and education of their children.

Promote opportunities for unity in our school community.
